Ding dong the witch is gone, the wicked witch is gone....
I'd be chanting the real song with zeal if that were true, but unfortunately not. She officially moved out of our apartment Sunday afternoon and Clinton and I haven't looked back since. Actually, it was more like Choi and Agnes with Clinton's and my help that moved her out. She didn't even bother to come and help them move all of her crap. I got back to the house Friday night after finding out from Agnes that she went into Seoul and promptly went around the house throwing anything and everything that she'd forgotten to pack into her room. She told Agnes she wasn't going to be around to help them move and had packed up and moved some stuff already on her own. After tossing/throwing all the extras into her room, I thought....yeah, ya couldn't have move much, considering what was left. Yet, when Sunday rolled around I was still shocked to find out that she really wasn't even going to help. Not that we wanted her anywhere near our place again, but come on.....could you use them (Choi and Agnes) anymore? If it's your own stuff, wouldn't you think you'd feel some sort of responsibility towards moving it? As well, if they already lost two boxes the first time, wouldn't you want to make sure that nothing else was lost. Yet one more thing that makes absolutely no sense to me. Somewhere around 6-ish she walked in to our place too, as if she owned the place. Clinton was on the way out. Lucky him. I sat there and was on the verge of asking her to get out and she's not welcome, when she stormed around checking to make sure everything was gone. How could she have time to come and check things, but not have time to actually help. Talk about lazy! She set her key down too and I asked her if she could also return her room key. She always locked her room....as if we would have been interested in her smoke infested/cheap stuff. I saw her come back as well on more than one occasion and unlock her door as well. She snapped back, "Did you give me a bedroom key?" I didn't get what she had said and repeated the question. Again I got the same bitchy (yet predictable at this point) response. To which I just said, "goodbye....just go!" and locked and bolted the door as soon as her feet were out the door.
Joe says everything's fine at their place. I find that hard to believe. Maybe he hasn't been lied to or had to deal with her smoking (i find that as well impossible to believe) as well as refusing to pay her portion of the bills yet. It'll only be a matter of time. Even if he ignores all the bullshit and leaves mostly on ok terms with her, I have almost no doubt that the new teacher will have problems. I feel a little bad about bringing him here without telling him, but I don't really have all that much choice. Do I tell him and any other teacher that could come that they'll have to work with and live with a BITCH? I can't very well do that. They'll just have to take it up with Choi and Agnes when they get here and I can only hope that sometime they actually follow through and fire her ass!
Oh....on the upside, our bathroom now smells lovely again (as it should)and we leave all our doors open daily. Things are so much fresher in every sense of the word. We cook, clean up and don't have to worry about bad vibes, bitchyness or any funky smell coming from anywhere soon! I can hardly wait to have another party and invite every staff member except her. I know that's a little over the top, but damn it'll feel good!
